As renewable energy becomes a growing focus, Sether Mechanical supports projects involving solar generation, electrolyzer integration, hydrogen production, storage, and balance-of-plant mechanical systems. Sether Mechanical's work spans mechanical contracting, construction management, and multi-trade coordination — connecting traditional mechanical disciplines with emerging hydrogen and renewable technologies.
Leadership
Sether Mechanical is owned and operated by Andrew Sether, who holds the firm's mechanical and general contracting licenses. Andrew's path into mechanical construction began with Control Air Enterprises in California, where he trained from apprentice to journeyman plumber on major commercial projects, including the NFL Headquarters in Los Angeles and the Westin Hotel in Anaheim. During the same period, he spent six years with MJ Plumbing Systems in Orange County, handling emergency repairs, residential remodels, and water treatment installations.
In 2022, Andrew relocated to Tennessee to join John E. Green Company on the Ultium Cells battery plant construction for General Motors in Spring Hill — one of the largest industrial builds in the state. Over two years, he advanced from journeyman plumber to foreman to general foreman, ultimately leading a crew of plumbers through system installation, testing, and commissioning.
Andrew founded Sether Mechanical in 2024 and now serves as Hydrogen Projects Construction Manager for Clearsun Power, where he oversees the design, installation, and commissioning of large-scale hydrogen infrastructure, including 1 MW+ electrolyzer systems and balance-of-plant construction.
